I have no idea what that means. I know what it translates to… but why are we suddenly saying it. Nevertheless, it makes me giggle when I see it. Ahhh… the joy of cheap laughter. BAHAHA! I’m awkward.

I’ve offically started college! (again) After my 2 or so year hiatus from school I am BACK and ready to finish! Excitement. Well, I’m excited now.. wait until I have homework… or until I’m forced to take a math class. Heh.

There will (more than likely) be a new video blog coming soon! One of my best friends Daniel and I chopped up my Christmas tree and burned it! You see Florida has been sooooo cold the past week. It dropped down to 32 degrees the night we did this. We 1) had to get rid of the tree and 2) wanted to keep warm and occupied. Worked out for all of us. I have two pictures I can show you now that I took with my phone. Plus some others on my digital camera at home. If I ever upload those I’ll edit this post and add them. I still need to review all the footage I got to see if I can make a V-Log out of it. It was really dark and the only real light source was the fire so I’m not too sure if I got enough useable footage. We’ll see.

 

In other news — if you don’t ever read my twitter — I upgraded my phone and bought myself an iPhone! I’m loving it. It’s the 3GS 16 GB. Let’s see if any Wordpress and iPhone users can help me here tho. I downloaded the WordPress app, and I enabled the settings for it to work via my control panel, but when I try and login with the app on my phone I get a 403 Forbidden still. Any ideas?

If you don’t celebrate Christmas, I’m sorry I missed Hanukkah. If you don’t celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas, or anything.. then Happy Freakin’ Friday! TGIF and all that jazz. I hope everyone’s day today is great. My day started great, I spent last night at my mother’s and had dinner. In the morning I had our usual “Christmas Morning” with my mom and my sister. Gifts galore! I’ll list a few off the top of my head. I got a Hookah from my mom! (I’ve been wanting one badly.) A bunch of awesome clothes, consisting mostly of Aeropostale shirts and The Rocket Summer Tees, and 3 pairs of jeans! A bottle of wine, 3 DVDs, the SIMS 3! Some others… Okay, let me stop flaunting my gifts.

Right now I’m at work, at this God forsaken gas station. I’m going to be missing Christmas dinner with my family because of it. I’m a little bummed out because of it but, whatever. I need the job. I do get paid today tho. That’s a plus. Then I get to go back to my house and open the presents I have there from my uncle. Should be fun.

So, in the video news. I’ve decided to launch my own YouTube channel! I’ve been sitting on my hands for too long and frankly I miss making videos for an actual audience. The channel will be creating various skits, parodies, and sketches. I have a cast already lined up, and we are currently in the pre-production process. (Writing scripts, securing locations, story-boarding, etc.) I’ll post the link once I create the channel.

I’m in the process of creating an actual layout for my little online portfolio. Justin Robbins.net. Lookout for that if you’re interested. If not, don’t. Heh.

I’m starting college Jan 6th!! I’m really excited. I’ll be taking 4 classes. English (of course), some required computer literacy class, General Psychology, and Film as Literature. I really think I’m going to regret picking 3 writing classes. I’m going to be writing essays out the ass. -quiver-

God, it feels great to be back! I’m going to go return comments the the blog I posted months ago now. Haha.

1. Every day something that was once impossible is made possible by some form of technological advancement. At the rate we’re going I think the word “impossible” is going to be removed from our languages only to be replaced by improbable. Impossibility only exists because someone has yet figured out “how” to make it possible. It’s just a matter of time until we do.

2. Does anyone else wonder if the future will blame us for what’s become of our planet?

3. I find “pajama pants” to be useless and redundant both grammatically and in a practical sense.

4. I truly believe the reason for the rise of stupidity in our (or my if you’re of of the country) nation’s children is that fact that we no longer have to think. We have machines that think for us. Computers, laptops, calculators, etc. Even now, I’ve used spell check at least three times just writing this one thought.

5. No matter how much we campaign, tell people, and advertise it… we’re never going to stop global warming. The polar ice caps are going to melt, and we’re all going to die. Not “we” as in you and me.. “we” as a race. God forbid you use your finger to pump a manual squirt button on a hairspray bottle or cologne. I don’t blame you. You need your finger strength for the text messages you’re about to send warning your friend about global warming. It’s completely understandable.

6. On the above note: “Going Green” has been twisted and contorted from something about actually helping the environment and saving the planet to a god damn fashion statement. Everything you buy is now labeled “green”. It’s so people feel like they’re doing something when they buy 12 dozen rolls of paper towels to mindlessly use to wipe their face while eating the fast food wrapped in paper that use to be the tree from my back yard. Green is a color. You want to help the environment, plant a damn tree.

(Let’s step away from the “green talk”)

7. I’m not crazy because I talk to myself. I’m crazy because when I talk to myself I turn down the radio so I can hear myself better.

8. People should learn that “Pro-Choice” does not mean you’re “Pro-Abortion”.

9. If I could reach out and grab a star from the sky — I’d probably have no hands left. They’re huge balls of fire you know.

10. If you’re ever looking for creativity… go up to a nearby child, and ask him to describe the world, and what it’s made up of. It will never cease to amaze me.

I use to sleep almost fully clothed. When I say fully clothed I mean it. I’d either just sleep in what I was wearing for the day, or if I did manage to change I’d wear boxers underneath full length pajama bottom pants, and a t-shirt. (No socks though. That’d just be weird.)

At some point, and I’m not sure when, I lost the pajama pants and slept in just underwear and a t-shirt. It stayed that way for quite some time. I’m not sure which came first with me losing either the underwear or the shirt first. If I remember correctly I think I alternated between the two, sleeping with one at a time.. now I’ve lost it all!

I’ve been sleeping totally in the nude for quite some time. It’s amazing. The only down side is that now I have to sleep with my bedroom door locked in case I kick the covers off in the middle of the night and someone wants to wake me up in the morning. It rarely happens. (Both kicking the covers off and getting woken up). But I know the day someone needs to startle me awake, It’d be the same day I kick the covers off. I wonder who’d be startled then.

Hah. Talk about a random ass blog.

Oh, I need some help from the Veteran WP users. One I want to look into adding a spam filter using a form of captcha. I have the filter for WP on, and it works — I just don’t like seeing 210 comments sitting in the spam folder. So any help there would be appreciated.

Also: I joined Alive 365! (Pronounced three-six-five) I need to integrate this button:

into the sidebar of my website. I’m not sure how. I have not tried yet. I’m sure I can figure it out but if someone just told me It’d be easier. God, I’m lazy.

In other news (about me) I’ve cut my hair! Well, technically Gaby cut the hair. I just sat in the chair while she did it. I wanted to do something emo and awesome. I managed to get both. It’s very short on the sides and back, with one long strip angled down over one side of my face.

We originally planned to do this as a Video Blog. But seeing as this was the first time that Gaby had cut anybody’s hair who was not made of plastic. That’s right, she happens to be the personal stylist of Joan Rivers… and a few dozen mannequins. Anyhow, I thought the video camera might be somewhat of a distraction. So, we just took lots of stills! I’ll walk you through it!
